• The First Wetland Park in Yiwu
  • People in Yiwu have another good place for leisure vacation and exercise now. Yiwu Futian Wetland Park realizes the dream of Yiwu people to enjoy the original natural beauty in Yiwu, the breeze, reeds and the gaggle of ducks. The biggest ecotype wetland park in Yiwu—Yiwu Futian Wetland Park was finished in 2009.

    From 2005 to 2009, Yiwu Futian Wetland Park cost more than 60 million yuan after 5 –year designing and constructing. As the staff introduced, Onccc knows that Yiwu Futian Wetland Park has been officially approved with various procedures, and the official name file will be issued soon.

    • Yiwu Huaxi Forest Park
    •      Huaxi Forest Park, a provincial tourism project, has been listed as a city-level priority project.
      Located in the northeast of Niansanli Community, at longitude 120°11’33”to 120°14’44” east and latitude 30°20’9” to 30°24’45”north, the Park, part of the Huijishan Mountain range, covers an area of around 22 square kilometers with a subtropical climate of sufficient sunlight and distinctive change of seasons. With annual temperature averaging between 16.5 to 16.9 degrees Celsius, and the mean annual precipitation between 1250 to 1350mm, this wonderful tourist destination, suitable for the growth of crops and fruits as well as the inhabitation and reproduction of wildlife, is divided into Longtangu, Wuyanshan and Huaxiangu with 40 natural and human scenic spots.
      The Park is dotted with temples scattering in the beautiful mountain and creek. The 50-hectare Wangdakeng Reservoir can be developed into a water park as well as the fishing and bathing zones. Its flat ground, an ideal site for holiday inns, can be planned to serve as a camping site for 3-day tours or a summer resort. The trip to the summit, with the camphor trees and unknown flowers alongside the path, is a delight treat for mountain climbers. The Longhuang Scenic Spot could be extended to the south to enrich the scenery. The 278-stair steep Baibuxun is close to the Dragon Fall, under which there is the Jinsi Pool, with water flowing down to the reservoir. The wonderful view on the top of the mountain pales other surrounding sights.Tourism Tips: Take bus NO.365 or 306 to the Huaxi Village and then take the special bus to Huaxi Forest Park directly. Catering and hotel can be supplied in the foot of the mountain. Or people are allowed to bring food by themselves

      • Yiwu Desheng Cliff
      •     Desheng Cliff is a good place for people to climb and explore.
        About 13 km to the north of the city, Desheng Cliff is also called Chou Cliff because of the peaks rising on above another in distance. In the fourth year of Wude(621AD) in Tang Dynasty, Yiwu got the name of Chouzhou from this cliff. From ancient to modern times, Desheng Cliff is a good place fro people to climb.
        The mysterious stones and caves of this Desheng Cliff will make you surprised. Behind the temple, a large stone tortoise lies prone on the mountain; the hand of nature makes the tortoise so vivid. You can also look at the Jiulongqianzhu Cliff, Shangyan Cave and Guanshan Mountain made by the miraculous nature.
        An old temple on Desheng Cliff called Helingxing Temple was established at the begging of Tuan Dynasty for the memory of Mr.Hu Ze, the minister of Song Dynasty. It is said that this place was admired by lots of people and literary wrote many poems here. 

        • Yiwu Dishui Cliff
        •     Located in Suxi, Dishui Cliff is the uprising apices with strange stones. A Buddha, carved from a big rock, of 7.5m high and 7.3m wide, can be found in one of the many temple in this scenic zone.
          Many steps above, there is a temple with sculptures of Hu Ze and Zong Ze, a famous officer of Song Dynasty against Jin Army. Go up on, you will find a temple called Mi Lef in which a Buddha, carved from a big rock, of 7.5 meters high and 7.3 meters diameter of its waist. On each side of temple, there is a Burman jade Buddha. These two Buddhas were originally presented to Fahua Temple in Yueqing Grom the Burman Buddhism. When the abbot of Fahua Temple got to know Dishui was a beautiful place and had a potential prosperity, he gave his present to this temple. The jade buddhas ae of high quality, smooth and bright, which also shows the technology of carving was great.
          Twenty meters above the Mi Le Temple is teaching cabin, which was built to memorize Shi Yi’aom a scholar of Yuan Dynasty once teaching here, A pavilion called Jingshang(meaning enjoying the scene) is just beside the cabin. Step about 10 meters up, you will reach the top. A pagoda of seven stories stands here. Tourists may enjoy all kinds of carves as you go upstairs along the steps in the pagoda. There are also corridors round it on each story for you to look over Suxi Town.

       

      • Yiwu Tongshan Rock
      •     On the north of Yiting Town, a rock cliff stands on the flat ground just like a lion squatting on his heels and facing to the north. A Buddha of 1.6m of height and 400-odd kg is placed at the “mouth of the lion”. On the traditional Double Ninth Festival, Tongshan Rock turns to be most excited with tourists and pilgrims.
        The head of the lion faces upward with its mouth open 30 meters wide and 18 meters deep. People built there temples from the front to the back in the mouth as early as in Nansong Dynasty. Pity this lion now turns into a lying lion with several damages through the long history.
        To meet the demands of tourism, in the eighties last century, people rebuilt” Daxiong” and “Hugong” two temples in the mouth of the lion. They also built a pavilion and another temple and placed in it a Buddha of 1.6 m high and 400 kg heavyt presented by Burma as a gift.

        • Yiwu Zhugong Rock
        •     Located at the foot of Wuyan Mountain of Huaxi Village in Niansanli Town, Zhugong Rock actually is a cave though named Rock. In this cave, there are many sub-caves and lanes joining together.
          Zhuyang Cave faces west, the rest directions surrounded with mountains, at the top rock of the cave, there are some carves of Chinese characters, like“ Rock roopm in cloud mountain, ect., by Zhou Shiying, county head of Wanli in Ming Dynasty, and some other people. In the cave, there are many sub-caves and lanes joining together. The shapes of them are various. The biggest sub-cave looks like a big and bright hall, it can hold over 100 people. In the Zhuyang Cave, there are many temples and all kinds of rocks like a pillow, a bed or a drum.
          Zhuyang Cave attracts all the time lots of tourists with its strange sub-caves and rocks. Thus the people of the old times praised its mystery as being made of God.
          Yiwu Yiwu Zhugong Rock

          • Yiwu Diaoyuji Park
          •     Built according to the hill features, Diaoyuji Park has red flowers and green trees, accompanied with an ancient tower—Feng Tower. This park appears quite natural, casual and harmonious.
            When you go down to the south along Yiwu River, you will reach a park called Diaoyuji Park at the end of the Green Corridor. As built according to the hill features, this park arrears quite natural, causal and harmonious.
            The sound of spring water flowing from the hill enters your ears when you walk into this park. The water runs beneath a bridge of ancient style into Yiwu River.
            Walk along the stone steps, at about 50th step, you will find a cross, one direction upstairs, the other downstairs, and many tress of big and small. If you go upstairs, a stone tablet with three Chinese characters” Diao Yu Ji” will appear before you. There characters show great power with a unyielding spirit.
            At the top of the hill, a pavilion of old style stands there welcomes you to have a rest and enjoy the cool wind. A few steps ahead, a pagoda of many hundreds of years old called “ Yifeng” stands there. The pagoda with its scars around and Yiwu River running besides are witness the history of Yiwu.
            Standing at the base of pagoda, you can catch the whole view of Yiwu City and the Green Corridor of Yiwu River.

             

            • Yiwu Green Corridor along Yiwu River
            •     Along each bank of Yiwu River, a green corridor of 18 km, with carpet-like lawn contrasted with colorful flowers and green trees, forms a splendid landscape pricture scroll with clean water. The corridor includes 11 parks.

    • Yiwu Xiuhu square
    •     Xiuhu square lies in the center of Yiwu city, which is the largest green square.
      As Yiwu River is the mother river of Yiwu, Xiuhu Park plays an important role in people’s life the secod mother of Yiwu River.
      Not only the ancient people , but also the people of today, everyone prefers to enjoy the beautiful landscape of willows, water lily, boat, gull, pagoda and bell tower. Xiuhu Eight Sceneries, which make lots of tourists’ crazy, have been the pride of Yiwu people.
      Today’s Xiuhu Park is rebuilt on the original place basing on the old pagoda with the topic of Xiuhu Eight Sceneries. It is built with China landscape technique according to the natural characteristics.
      Walk into the park and you will find Da’ansi Pagoda of old style, Museum of People’s Residence, Song Style Pavilion, Ming Style Corridor, old stone bridge and boats. Now Xiuhu Park, a wonderful place for people to have a walk and relaxation, has been a model of new city parks in Yiwu.
